Job Summary : Seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to monitor security threats, respond to incidents, and implement security measures to protect organizational systems and data. This role focuses on threat analysis, vulnerability management, security audits, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Continuously monitor security alerts and analyze potential threats using security tools and platforms.

2. Participate in the response to any security events and incidents, including investigation, response, and recovery.

3. Leverage vulnerability scanning tools to uncover vulnerabilities and work with the device management team to ensure they are remediated.

4. Perform security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

5. Work with the existing cybersecurity awareness platform to ensure team members are aware of the rapidly changing threat environment.

6. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures.

7. Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

8. Work closely with the technical team and all departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.

9. Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, identity management, SIEM, third party risk, brand and social engineering protection, and endpoint protection solutions.

10. Prepare reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and overall security posture to technology leadership.

11. Champion a security as code culture and drive security implementations via code and CI/CD pipelines.

12. Assist our team members at our New York office with urgent technical support in concert with the helpdesk.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.

2. Understanding of key cybersecurity principles.

3. Ability to handle and resolve technical support and cybersecurity events.

4. Ability to research and understand new topics and apply this knowledge to solve rapidly evolving technologies and cybersecurity threats.

5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing relationships and handling escalations.

6. Industry recognized certifications (e.g. CISSP, CI) are a plus.
